Open-ended toys have no prescribed goal and no "correct" use. A wooden block is a house today, a boat tomorrow, and a bridge the day after — or simply a beautiful object to touch. The child decides. Research confirms what many parents intuitively feel: precisely this freedom is one of the most effective ways to foster creativity, problem-solving skills, and emotional maturity.

AVDAR Toys was founded in 2016 by Evgeny and Lulu — a Russian-Mongolian couple who built the first wooden toy for their own son. Today, their pieces can be found in children's rooms all over the world and carry a clear conviction: a good toy can replace at least five others.
